Mission Statement

The Washington Volunteer Fire Department Incorporated will provide for the Town of Washington, Connecticut, the highest level of protection possible against the ravages of fire, natural or man made disasters, or any other emergency that may occur. Firefighters will respond to any such incident as quickly and safely as possible giving first priority to life safety and will remain on scene until no longer Needed.
